We are Charlotte and Sakke, we quit our jobs as PE teachers and bought a 40ft sailboat to live on. We’re excited to have you join us on our adventures!

We wanted to start this blog so friends, family or other visitors, (Hello to you if you are one 👋) could have a place where they can read about our adventure at sea.

Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect from our posts:

What we’ll be sharing

• Posts about living on a sailboat: Day to day life on a sailboat.
• Boat maintenance and DIY projects: Although we’re not super handy with fixing the boat (yet). Writing about boat maintenance and DIY projects might be a good way for us to learn things and hopefully they might help other people out too!
• Galley Stories & Port Guides: Cooking in a moving kitchen, exploring new ports, and finding hidden anchorages along our route. (Galley is just a fancy boat word for kitchen, you can expect a lot more fancy boat words too!)
• And whatever we might feel like writing about!
